The Office Admin Assistant at SYNERGY HomeCare plays a crucial role in guiding and coordinating all activities of the agency, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service. This position involves collaboration across various departments, including scheduling, client care, and caregiver recruitment, while also focusing on enhancing client satisfaction and maintaining a positive work environment for caregivers. The successful candidate will help streamline administrative procedures and communicate the agency's mission effectively to clients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Develop specific goals, standards, and objectives that support the strategic plan and vision.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for care providers and clients.
  • Innovate and create initiatives to enhance the company's reputation.
  • Collaborate with the owner to develop the annual budget and operational plan.
  • Manage and support team members.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines and licensing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships within the healthcare and referral community.
  • Act as backup for caregivers when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) license or equivalent experience in home care or home health agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Strong phone management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate Degree in healthcare/Business Administration or related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with scheduling.
