About the position

The Administrative Assistant-HR position at Robert Half is a full-time, on-site role located in Reading, Pennsylvania, focused on supporting the Human Resources department. This long-term contract opportunity involves various administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of HR functions, including employee record maintenance, onboarding, recruitment support, and training coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with various HR administrative tasks, including the maintenance of employee records.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Support the HR team in managing recruitment processes and maintaining candidate records.
  • Coordinate and execute employee training and development programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries professionally, offering guidance on HR policies as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and documents, ensuring accurate record keeping at all times.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) for a variety of tasks, such as data entry, email correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing calls while ensuring a high level of customer service is held.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience in handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
