About the position

The Administrative Assistant II will provide essential support to the Senior Vice President of the Commercial Group, focusing on coordinating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and events. This long-term contract position offers flexibility in work schedule and location, including remote work options. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President of the Commercial Group
  • Coordinate and assist with DEI initiatives and events
  • Assist in planning and organizing virtual and in-person meetings, charity events, and recognition activities
  • Ensure efficient project coordination and timely execution of plans
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of the SVP
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in event coordination is a plus
