The Administrative Assistant position at a well-known medical facility involves providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Responsibilities

  • Composes, prepares, edits, and proofreads letters, reports, and other correspondences.
  • Answers telephones, screens calls, and forwards messages.
  • Routes or answers routine inquiries.
  • Operates general office equipment.
  • Performs administrative and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature.
  • Produces a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using appropriate software for word processing, graphics, and spreadsheets.
  • Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries, coordinating related arrangements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative position performing similar duties and responsibilities.
  • Proficient in the use of standard office equipment including copy and fax machines, 10-key, and personal computers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on advanced Excel skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to interact well with others and to work well under pressure.
  • Professional attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
