About the position

The Administrative Assistant at Miller Canfield will provide essential support to the arbitration administrative assistant, ensuring efficient management of arbitration-related tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining organization within the office and facilitating communication between various stakeholders involved in arbitration processes.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close files internally and in the client's database
  • Schedule oral arbitration hearings with the arbitration tribunal case manager
  • Docket all document and oral hearings on internal calendar
  • Maintain arbitration spreadsheets
  • Respond to and upload emails and attachments in internal management system

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effectively utilize available resources
