About the position

As an Administrative Assistant on our house counsel team at Progressive Insurance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include managing records requests, generating follow-up letters, and conducting discovery work, all of which are essential to the legal processes within the company. You will also be responsible for standard administrative duties such as answering phones, managing documentation, and processing electronic communications and mail. Additionally, you will oversee the management of office supplies and equipment, ensuring that everything is in order and readily available for the team. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three half days per week in the Carmel, IN office, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. Ideal candidates will possess strong time management and communication skills, which will be vital in coordinating various tasks and ensuring that deadlines are met. Your ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments will be essential, as you will be working with moderate guidance while handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Requirements
