About the position

As an Administrative Assistant on our house counsel team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong time management and communication skills. You will be responsible for supporting a group of Attorneys across multiple offices, handling a variety of standard administrative duties. These duties include answering and returning phone calls, managing and maintaining documentation, processing electronic communications and mail, and overseeing the management of office supplies and equipment. A significant aspect of this role involves fulfilling subpoena requests for records and following up with providers to obtain those records. Attention to detail and timely communication practices are essential for success in this position. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, along with a minimum of three years of work experience in an administrative role. Experience in records procurement, particularly in requesting medical records and fulfilling subpoena requests, is strongly desired. Previous administrative experience in a legal environment is also a plus. In this role, you will be expected to operate a PC proficiently, with a strong working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office.
