The Administrative Assistant - Customer Service Representative and Marketing Coordinator position at C. The ability to foster good working relationships with clients and team members is essential, as is the capacity to follow through on service requests to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a marketing background or a college degree in sales/marketing, along with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Responsibilities

  • Manage the agency's Marketing program.
  • Ensure that all emails and cell numbers are up to date.
  • Remove customers that opt out of receiving text/emails.
  • Update content to keep communication fresh with customers and prospects.
  • Answer incoming customer phone calls in a bright, friendly manner.
  • Follow procedures to take care of customer requests or transfer to a team member.
  • Process all incoming mail and log into the insurance carrier website to download communication and save in the management system.
  • Process insurance policy changes, renewals, billing, and cancellations in accordance with agency guidelines.
  • Foster and maintain good working relationships with clients, agency employees, and prospects.
  • Note all phone conversations, appointments, walk-ins, and efforts in the Agency System.
  • Discover opportunities to multi-line prospects/current clients and transfer to licensed agents to earn bonuses.
  • Follow through on all service work to completion.
  • Handle correspondence from companies as distributed by management, to completion.
  • Assist the agency in all aspects of office routine.

Requirements

  • Marketing background or a college degree in sales/marketing.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, including listening skills.
  • Ability to express oneself properly in writing.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
  • Integrity in all actions.
