About the position

The Administrative Assistant/Marketing role at a small health care company involves managing various administrative tasks to support the office's operations. The position requires proficiency in Google Docs and a detail-oriented approach to ensure efficient office management and support for the Operations Manager and Marketing department.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, retrieve voicemails, and communicate with vendors professionally.
  • Prepare mailings and retrieve the mail.
  • Assist the Staffing Coordinator with new hire paperwork.
  • Prepare and sort documents.
  • Check the fax machine and disperse documents to appropriate team members.
  • Perform data entry tasks.
  • Process and file worker compensation and leave of absence requests.
  • Ensure payroll is entered on time, collaborating with the owner bi-weekly.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Provide support for the Operations Manager and Marketing department.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Office Assistant, Secretary, or Administrative Assistant.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience with ADP.
