About The Position

As an Administrative Assistant at Community Health Systems, you will support the organization's mission to provide quality healthcare by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and ensuring efficient office operations. This role is essential in maintaining the workflow of the administrative department and involves a variety of responsibilities including document management, communication handling, and office management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience required.
  • High school diploma is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial support including typing, composing, and proofreading correspondence.
  • Index and file documents, compile reports from data and existing records, and gather information for summaries.
  • Answer inquiries and refer callers or visitors to appropriate individuals while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Communicate with the property management office to report and resolve building issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of budget and operations plans.
  • Develop and implement office procedures related to interoffice communication and records management.
  • Requisition, order, and ensure the adequacy of office supplies and equipment.
  • Attend meetings as assigned, report on actions, and perform notary public duties.
