About the position

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant for a Leasing Office in Vero Beach, FL. This full-time position is an evaluation hire, offering a starting pay of $15 per hour. The working hours are set for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of the leasing office, which includes interacting with clients, managing documents, and providing support to the leasing manager. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for reviewing documents to ensure the accuracy of information, providing clients with detailed information about the leasing process, and showing available units. You will greet clients in a friendly and professional manner, welcoming them to the facility and addressing their inquiries regarding available properties. Effective communication with the leasing manager is crucial, as you will be involved in discussions about lease renewals, rent payments, and other administrative tasks. In addition to these responsibilities, you will provide administrative support by scheduling showings, maintaining records of communication with tenants, and updating databases with new listings or lease agreements. You will also coordinate with lawyers, real estate agents, and other third parties to address legal issues such as evictions or lease disputes, and manage tenant concerns or complaints. Preparing essential documents such as leases, rent checks, and notices to vacate for landlords will also be part of your duties. Some walking outdoors is required for this position, and candidates should be prepared for a background and credit check, although little or no credit will not disqualify you from consideration.

Responsibilities
