About the position

The Policy Service Associate at HUB International will play a crucial role in providing administrative and clerical support to the Personal Lines department. This position involves direct collaboration with Sales Executives and Account Managers to facilitate the processing of client requests for service, which includes handling endorsements, cancellations, and binders. Additionally, the associate will be responsible for backup Receptionist duties, assisting with quotes for new and renewal business, and preparing proposals for presentations. The role is dynamic and requires adaptability to various tasks assigned by the manager, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, ever-changing environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Personal Lines department.
  • Assist Sales Executives and Account Managers with processing client requests for service.
  • Handle endorsements, cancellations, and binders as needed.
  • Perform backup Receptionist duties when required.
  • Assist with quotes for new and renewal business.
  • Prepare proposals for presentations and other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (some college preferred).
  • At least 2 years of office/administrative experience.
  • Insurance experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty license (HUB will pay for this).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
