Whillock Contracting Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimator Assistant/Project Coordinator to join our team in El Cajon, CA. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who have experience in construction project implementation and coordination. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project managers and estimators throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. This role requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and ensuring that all project requirements are met efficiently and effectively. As an Estimator Assistant/Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the successful execution of projects. Key responsibilities include downloading bidding projects for estimators, completing bid forms as needed, and creating project job folders for awarded projects. You will also be tasked with creating new Digalert tickets and updating existing ones, requesting insurance and bonds for awarded projects, and processing daily job tickets and time cards. Additionally, you will need to ensure compliance with DVBE, SBE, ELBE, and other requirements on projects and advertising. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project Trakker. Strong conflict management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities
