About the position

The Administrative Assistant position at Spieker Companies, Inc. is a full-time role focused on supporting property management operations, particularly in new property acquisitions and policy management. The role requires a reliable and motivated individual to assist with compliance reviews, document control, and provide administrative support to various property management staff.

Responsibilities

  • Rent Roll and Rental Agreement compliance review
  • Tenancy policy and procedures compliance and document control (create, update and maintain leasing forms as needed)
  • Provide administrative support to Property Managers, Resident Managers, and Leasing Staff
  • Special projects related to tenancy
  • Heavy auditing and filing

Requirements

  • Prior property management experience required
  • Knowledge of current fair housing laws and rental policies
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be professional, reliable, and detail oriented
  • Good time-management skills, ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Yardi Property Management
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word/Excel software skills required

Nice-to-haves

  • HUD Project Based Section 8 tenant compliance preferred
