About the position

The Administrative Assistant position in Property Management is a full-time role focused on supporting the community manager and staff in a manufactured home community office. The role involves managing daily operational duties, ensuring compliance with community standards, and maintaining high occupancy rates. The assistant will also be responsible for customer service, marketing efforts, and administrative tasks to support the overall functioning of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain community relationships
  • Perform prompt follow-up and follow-through with prospects and applicants
  • Actively participate in the marketing of the community to maximize occupancy
  • Follow up and report on delinquencies for specific residents as required
  • Ensure customers/residents receive a high level of service
  • Respond promptly to residents and guest inquiries
  • Enforce community rules and standards
  • Adhere to all state, government, and local requirements to meet and exceed the expectations of all Fair Housing guidelines

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Legally permitted to work in the US
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the property management industry
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including email, internet, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using ManageAmerica is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
