About the position

The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist role is essential for providing clerical support and ensuring smooth office operations. This position involves managing communication, maintaining records, and assisting with various administrative tasks to support staff and patients effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mail distribution, and filing.
  • Maintain records for staff and patients.
  • Create various types of documentation using Microsoft Office.
  • Coordinate meetings or conference calls as needed.
  • Answer phones in a timely manner using good customer service skills and judgment in the distribution of messages.
  • Keep inventory of all office supplies and place replenishment orders as needed.
  • Record and maintain all logs accurately.
  • Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm, and professional manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities.
  • Conduct background checks, assist with new hires and orientation.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education is required.
  • Ability to relocate to Michigan City, IN 46360 before starting work.
