The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters located in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director of Development. This role is pivotal in assisting with the responsibilities and functions of the Executive Director's office, which includes handling private and confidential matters related to donors, personnel, programs, and office procedures. The position requires a high degree of independent judgment and a close, responsive relationship with the daily activities of the Executive Director of Development. The Administrative Assistant is expected to comply with and meet The Salvation Army's policies and standards at the federal, state, and local levels. This is a full-time position with a minimum starting wage of $22.23 per hour, which can be negotiated based on experience and education. In this role, the Administrative Assistant will assist the Executive Director of Development (EDD) in communications with appropriate personnel across the Midland Division, Divisional Headquarters (DHQ), and Divisional Advisory Organizations. The assistant will serve as the point of contact between Development and all other departments, including Community Relations and Development (CRD) at Territorial Headquarters (THQ). Responsibilities include corresponding on behalf of the EDD with both internal and external stakeholders, coordinating meetings, planning and executing special projects, attending meetings, taking minutes, managing the EDD's schedule, and overseeing the Development Department's SharePoint site. The position also involves supporting the EDD in organizing various projects and campaigns, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
