About the position

The Administrative Assistant for Human Resources, Marketing & Communications at Children's will provide essential administrative support to Manager and Director level professionals across various teams within the department. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the organization, contributing to the overall mission of providing excellent pediatric healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Manager/Director level professionals across various teams.
  • Coordinate professional schedules and manage travel arrangements.
  • Organize materials for reports, briefings, and conferences.
  • Assist with planning and prioritizing assigned projects under general supervision.
  • Serve as a communication liaison between various levels of personnel.
  • Escalate complex problems to management for direct involvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve moderate level problems within defined scope and policies.
  • Arrange conference calls and organize meetings.
  • Gather and compile requested information and prepare invoices.
  • Maintain records and manage SharePoint/Exchange content.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative assistant experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in Medical Staff Services preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of drafting reports and conducting research.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
