About the position

The Administrative Assistant at Delta Group Electronics, Inc. is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support across various departments. This role involves managing schedules, organizing meetings, and performing desktop publishing tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Filing and maintaining departmental records.
  • Scheduling meetings and conference calls.
  • Obtaining departmental supplies as required.
  • Maintaining departmental calendar and appointments.
  • Screening phone calls and distributing mail.
  • Performing desktop publishing tasks, including creating and developing documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Scheduling and organizing activities such as meetings, travel, and conferences for department members.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
