About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced Orthopedics Practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and manage authorizations for injection procedures and treatments.
  • Maintain and update providers schedules to ensure smooth clinic flow.
  • Assist in maintaining clinic volume and ensure patients are seen in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide clear and accurate administrative information to patients, staff, and providers.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of workers' compensation protocols and insurance processes.
  • Review patient charts and prepare them for the physician prior to appointments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, preferably within orthopedics.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage high patient volumes.
  • Knowledge of insurance eligibility, benefit structures, and authorization process.
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation insurance and protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
