About the position

The Administrative Assistant at Sedgwick provides essential administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. This role involves preparing correspondence, managing documentation, and assisting with various office tasks, all while contributing to a culture of caring and inclusivity within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Produces correspondence, reports, and other documentation.
  • Files documents and maintains suspense files.
  • Photocopies and sends/receives facsimile transmissions.
  • Provides back-up telephone support.
  • Processes invoices and billings, maintaining records.
  • Maintains unit attendance records, library, and manuals.
  • Records meeting minutes.
  • Makes travel arrangements.
  • Maintains adequate supply inventory and orders supplies as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One year of experience in general office administrative duties or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience with an insurance company, broker, or consultant preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
