About the position

The Administrative Support Specialist will provide comprehensive administrative assistance to an insurance agency in a remote capacity. This role is crucial for managing customer inquiries, processing insurance documents, and supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth business functions and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the insurance agency, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling customer inquiries.
• Assist with the preparation, processing, and filing of insurance documents such as applications, claims, and policy renewals.
• Maintain accurate records and update client information in the agency's management system.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-ups with clients or internal teams.
• Support the agency's customer service efforts by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on requests.
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment processing as needed.
• Generate and distribute reports, summaries, and other documents as required by management.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support insurance claims and policy processes.
• Collaborate with the agency team to ensure operational efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the agency.
