About the position

The Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for the organization, responsible for greeting customers and managing front-desk activities. This role requires strong multitasking and stress management skills, as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service and assist with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet walk-in customers and direct them to appropriate team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Assist in reconciling invoices for point of sale and process payments accurately.
  • Answer phones and direct callers to other departments or team members as appropriate.
  • Assist the customer service department, including creating or modifying customer accounts in the ERP system.
  • Oversee the daily delivery schedule for drivers and assist with vehicle check-in or pick-up.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Ability to carry out day-to-day monetary transactions.
  • Experience with MS Office required; proficiency in Excel preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
