About the position

The Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative and confidential support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and other management staff in a healthcare setting. This role involves a variety of tasks including scheduling, credentialing, and IT support, as well as documenting procedures, preparing reports, and coordinating activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills, making it a vital part of the team in a growing company within the radiology field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and confidential support for the CIO and other management staff.
  • Manage provider scheduling and credentialing processes.
  • Document standard operating procedures and prepare reports.
  • Compile data for analysis and coordinate activities.
  • Investigate and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Provide backup administrative support to other staff as needed.
  • Coordinate with other administrative personnel to maintain adequate office coverage.
  • Oversee office supplies and inventory management.
  • Assist with facilities management tasks.
  • Screen office visitors and phone calls, and manage mail and deliveries.
  • Process refund and accounts payable checks for mailing and bank deposits.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Formal experience as an administrative assistant with general office procedures knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Windows, word processing, spreadsheet programs, and strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to type 50 - 60 words per minute and use a 10-key calculator.
  • Preferably one year of experience in a healthcare facility or related organization.
