About the position

A-1 Appliance Co. is seeking a talented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for customers. This full-time position involves answering phone calls, performing various administrative tasks, and ensuring a positive experience for customers. The role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of the office and supporting the team with various duties.

Responsibilities

  • Answer the phone lines with a positive, cheerful demeanor.
  • Retrieve and deliver overnight messages to the intended departments or recipients.
  • Perform general office duties, including drafting communication, filing, and facility management.
  • Prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle invoicing and sales reports.
  • Acquire and distribute store supplies.
  • Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Maintain a company-wide calendar.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of office and/or customer service experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, solid organization, and time management capabilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • General computer proficiency.
  • Positive, upbeat, cheerful attitude and demeanor.
