The Administrative Assistant at Woodlands Senior Living plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of the organization, which focuses on providing high-quality assisted living and memory care services. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling orientations, managing payroll procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role is ideal for individuals who are organized, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a genuine interest in working with the elderly.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and conducting general and job-specific orientation.
  • Ensuring complete and accurate documentation of orientations.
  • Submitting reports to designated recipients.
  • Conducting facility-level payroll procedures.
  • Performing all other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director/Administrator.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella, and Influenza.
  • Strong command of the English language with the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, etc.) preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • A current, valid license to operate a vehicle in the state of Maine and a driving record that is satisfactory to the company may be required.
  • Must complete a criminal history record check to the satisfaction of the company.
