About the position

The Administrative Assistant at Legacy Health plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership, including Vice Presidents and Directors. This position requires handling confidential information with discretion and involves coordinating various departmental activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to the organization's mission of improving lives.

Responsibilities

  • Provides confidential, complex and diversified support to Vice President(s), Director(s) or Medical Director(s).
  • Relieves senior leaders of administrative details, requiring tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Coordinates department activities and supports Boards and committees, including evening meetings.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in an administrative support role requiring discretion and judgment.
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated keyboarding skill of sixty words per minute.
  • Advanced word processing skills and budget management abilities.
  • Ability to create presentations using software like Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in transcribing reports and correspondence, including technical and medical terminology.
  • Ability to compose and edit specialized correspondence and reports.
  • Effective human relations skills, including the ability to work with all levels of staff.
