About the position

The Administrative Assistant will support the administrative functions of a rapidly growing biotech company, playing a crucial role in facilitating workflow processes and ensuring office efficiency. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage various administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office administrative activities, including day-to-day operations, scheduling, correspondence, and filing
  • Serve as the point person for maintenance, mailing, shopping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands
  • Coordinate company meetings, events, and sessions with other department assistants
  • Provide administrative support to the team
  • Prepare, proofread, and edit internal and external documents
  • Execute data entry duties
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and bookings
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment
  • Assist in preparations of presentations, reports, and meeting documents
  • Interact with clients, vendors, and visitors

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • At least 1-3 years of administrative support experience, preferably in the biotech or related industry
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
