About the position

The Administrative Assistant role is a short-term contract position based in Easthampton, Massachusetts, focused on providing essential administrative support within a standard office environment. Responsibilities

  • Administration and organization of customer files, both digitally and physically
  • Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of customer data processing
  • Attending to customer inquiries and resolving them in a timely manner
  • Implementing filing systems for effective record-keeping
  • Monitoring and updating customer accounts as necessary
  • Utilizing strong organizational skills to maintain orderly workplace
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail in all administrative tasks
  • Providing administrative support to other team members as required
  • Assisting in the preparation and processing of various reports
  • Maintaining high standards of confidentiality with all administrative and customer records.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.

  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks such as data entry and document preparation.
  • Basic mathematical skills for tasks like budgeting or expense tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle any issues that may arise during daily operations.

  • Experience in an administrative role would be advantageous.
