About the position

The Administrative Assistant at Seaport Steel Company is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming phone calls, screening, and routing to the appropriate team member.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate area or person.
  • Manage in and outbound mail.
  • Scan and email Work Orders and Shipping Documents to headquarters.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Work directly with the Maintenance department.
  • Provide database support.
  • Manage customer and vendor accounts.
  • Assist multiple departments with special projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's degree (preferred)
  • 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
