About the position

The Administrative Assistant at Performance Food Group is responsible for providing essential clerical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operations of the department. This role involves assisting personnel with their duties, managing multiple projects, and functioning as a team member within the department and across functions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide office administrative support for the department
  • Create presentations, reports, and forms using a personal computer as requested by management
  • Answer phones and direct all calls to the appropriate party promptly and efficiently
  • Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Arrange travel schedules and reservations for management as needed
  • Handle special projects as needed
  • Process checks and cash for accounts receivable
  • Assist with expense reports and invoices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 6 - 12 Months experience in MS Office Suite, efficient keyboarding
