About the position

The Administrative Assistant III plays a crucial role in supporting Human Resource executives and department managers by performing a variety of administrative tasks. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex administrative duties effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Heavy data entry with a focus on accuracy.
  • Create, maintain, and update reports and spreadsheets.
  • Create, edit, and modify correspondence and documents.
  • Organize and file a variety of records.
  • Perform duties with professionalism, relating to others in a courteous and cooperative manner.
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure confidentiality.
  • Verify staff licensing and certifications.
  • Assist with scheduling staff and preparing new hire orientation packets.

Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively deal with a wide range of personalities.
  • Ability to function independently and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Above average computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
