About the position

The Administrative Assistant at Boyum & Barenscheer will play a crucial role in supporting the Audit & Assurance department by managing administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This position involves close collaboration with partners, clients, and staff, focusing on effective communication and organization to facilitate departmental activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to and work closely with Partners in the Audit & Assurance (A&A) department, including managing inboxes and scheduling check-ins with staff.
  • Process all department documents, reports, and letters.
  • Set up and coordinate client meetings.
  • Arrange travel for partners and staff.
  • Monitor billing for the department, including progress and final bills.
  • Update and track department KPIs and any department initiatives or agendas.
  • Organize and coordinate department training sessions.
  • Accurately set up and manage department projects in the company database, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain and update client files and records.
  • Update company intranet with department news.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal staff.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Order food and prepare rooms for meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
