The firm is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, and operates over 100 offices along with more than 80 correspondent offices. The Seattle office is currently seeking a Registered Client Service Associate to support Financial Advisors and senior management. This role is crucial in maintaining the high level of service that Wedbush is known for, ensuring that clients receive the attention and support they need to manage their investments effectively. The Registered Client Service Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include providing sales and administrative support to both customers and Financial Advisors. This involves maintaining client account information, assisting Financial Advisors with special projects, and coordinating client review meetings. The role also requires organizing and maintaining calendars, processing invoices, check requests, and expense reports, as well as researching and arranging detailed travel plans for Financial Advisors. The Associate will interact with customers both in person and over the phone, prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports, and follow up on deadline-driven tasks. Attention to detail is essential, as the Associate will also be responsible for answering phones, taking accurate messages, and maintaining files and documents. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and a FINRA Series 7 license. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of broker/dealer sales support experience, a strong commitment to customer service, and a basic understanding of general office procedures and equipment. Proficiency in MS Office is necessary, along with a professional appearance and demeanor. A positive attitude, the ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines are also critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales and administrative support to customers and Financial Advisors
  • Maintain client account information and assist Financial Advisors with special projects as needed
  • Coordinate and prepare for client review meetings and set up new accounts
  • Organize and maintain calendar and meeting schedule
  • Process invoices, check requests, and expense reports
  • Research and arrange detailed travel plans: prepare travel itineraries and compile all documents and information needed for travel and appointments
  • Interact with customers both in person and on the phone
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports
  • Follow up on deadline-driven tasks and issues
  • Answer phones and take detailed, accurate messages
  • Maintain files and documents
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned and required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • FINRA Series 7 license required
  • 3+ years broker/dealer sales support experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Basic/working knowledge of general office procedures and equipment (multi-line phones, FAX, computer and keyboard skills)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Professional appearance and demeanor is essential
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines required
