About the position

We are seeking a short-term contract Administrative Assistant in the Professional Services industry, located in Carmel, Indiana. The role involves assisting with data entry, follow-up calls, and bookkeeping tasks, requiring proficiency in various computer applications, particularly Excel and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
  • Maintaining precise customer credit records
  • Handling and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions based on account status
  • Handling data entry tasks with attention to detail
  • Conducting follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any outstanding issues
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to perform daily tasks
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars effectively
  • Assisting with bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks, as needed
  • Managing email correspondence professionally and promptly.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with Data Entry
  • Proven ability to manage Email Correspondence efficiently
  • Skilled at handling Inbound and Outbound calls
  • Familiarity with scheduling appointments in a professional setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
  • Prior experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
