About the position

The Administrative Assistant at Green Ridge Village plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of a well-established not-for-profit organization. Responsibilities

  • Greets and appropriately directs visitors.
  • Drafts letters and documents as directed.
  • Schedules appointments.
  • Maintains necessary document filing.
  • Coordinates meeting, lodging and food arrangements for sponsored functions.
  • Makes copies, sends faxes, scans and prints documents as necessary.
  • Promptly answers the telephone and relays accurate information to team members.
  • May collect, sort and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • May prepare packages for shipment; receives packages via carrier and ensures proper delivery.
  • May be responsible for the management of office supplies.
  • May receive and verify invoices for accuracy.

Requirements

  • Three to five years clerical or office support experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Must be professional and courteous and provide excellent customer service.
