About the position

Aston Carter is seeking remote agents to assist with a disaster relief program. This short-term project involves serving as a direct point of contact for individuals registering for federal assistance, providing information, and making referrals to support organizations. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a direct point of contact for individuals registering for federal assistance.
  • Conduct communication with patience, tact, and courtesy to determine needs and provide instructions or referrals.
  • Enter information into a Windows-based computer database as required, following instructions and conducting scripted interviews.
  • Provide phone numbers and agency referrals for secondary support organizations and other assistance.
  • Perform outbound calls, conduct document reviews, and provide referrals to disaster assistance providers.
  • Attend all scheduled shift meetings to receive event-specific information prior to the start of the shift.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills, maintaining professionalism in all communications.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the Administrative or Customer Service field.
  • Previous computer experience.
  • High-speed internet to work remotely.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain a Public Trust.
