The Enterprise and Merchant Platforms (EMP) team at PayPal is seeking a highly competent Executive Assistant to provide administrative and operational support for the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Global Product Solutions. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and is capable of juggling diverse responsibilities. The Executive Assistant will need to be a masterful problem-solver, exceptional communicator, and an organizational force, ensuring that the SVP's needs are anticipated and met effectively. In this position, the Executive Assistant will manage complex calendar arrangements, coordinate meetings with a strategic approach, and react with urgency to requests that require quick turnarounds. The role also involves aligning with the SVP on weekly priorities, managing expenses and travel arrangements, and fostering strong relationships with other Executive Assistants and key business partners across PayPal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting executives in dynamic work environments and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide complex calendar management for the SVP of Global Product Solutions using Outlook.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with a strategic approach, considering time zone sensitivities.
  • React with urgency to requests that require quick turnarounds and take effective action without needing the full context.
  • Align with the SVP on weekly priorities and help execute business and people priorities.
  • Organize and manage events, team off-sites, and team-building activities.
  • Manage expenses and travel arrangements, both domestic and international.
  • Process system approvals in a timely manner.
  • Foster strong relationships with Executive Assistants, Business Operations, and key business partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience supporting executives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and prioritize the leader's calendar based on rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Strong calendar management skills, including coordination of complex executive meetings across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership over ambiguous tasks with little oversight.
  • Execute with a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion, with high attention to detail.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
