About the position

The Community Mental Health Administrative Manager is responsible for coordinating various administrative and program management tasks within community-based services. This role requires a strong background in mental health services, including relevant certifications and experience. The manager will oversee the agency's referral process, manage staff, ensure program utilization goals are met, and maintain quality assurance practices. Additionally, the position involves community engagement and program marketing to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee agency referral process for MHSB, IIH, and Crisis Services.
  • Manage all referrals and maintain a referral book/tracker, reporting on referrals admitted, not admitted, pending, and denied.
  • Ensure the program meets its referral targets monthly.
  • Supervise QMHP staff and implement quality assurance and risk management practices.
  • Stay updated on state policies and procedures.
  • Meet with community liaisons weekly to gather leads and schedule assessments of referrals.
  • Maintain a balance of new referrals and staff to meet program utilization goals.
  • Conduct quality assurance with clients to ensure needs are met and report any unmet needs.
  • Complete weekly utilization reports for clients and staff, tracking utilization percentages.
  • Provide program productivity updates weekly to the COO.
  • Manage mid-week and end-of-week check-ins with staff to troubleshoot challenges.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing program marketing events.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and training.
  • Complete weekly productivity and marketing tracking reports.
  • Build relationships in underserved areas to promote services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social service, clinical psychology, counseling, public health administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in mental health services.
  • QMHP-A or C, or CSAC preferred.
  • LMHP or LMHP-Type preferred.
