About the position

The Administrative Office Assistant for Dental Hygiene at El Paso Community College provides essential clerical and administrative support services. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine administrative support duties including composing and typing correspondence.
  • Enter data into the computer system.
  • Prepare statements, memos, charts, and other documents.
  • Greet visitors and respond to inquiries or refer questions as necessary.
  • Answer and screen telephone calls.
  • Conduct routine research and prepare statistical reports.
  • Organize and maintain a filing system for correspondence and records.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and arrange for equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and record and transcribe minutes.
  • Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and one year of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective customer service and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of work-related information.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a salary range of $22,125 - $23,948 per year.
