About the position

Southern Delivers LLC is a well-established trucking company that provides logistical services to various companies across the country, with locations in Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, Dallas, and Houston. As the company continues to expand, we are seeking to hire an experienced Administrative Clerk for our Tampa Terminal. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth operations within the terminal and requires a candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing orders, answering phone calls, and communicating effectively with drivers. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a requirement for this role, as it will involve interacting with a diverse range of clients and team members. The Administrative Clerk will also be tasked with compiling and maintaining records, scheduling appointments at the Tampa Port, and utilizing various computer programs to perform daily tasks. A strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, is essential. The candidate must demonstrate excellent time-management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills are also necessary to ensure clear and concise interactions with both internal and external stakeholders. This is a full-time position with a standard 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, offering a competitive hourly wage of $18.00.

  • Ability to work with multiple programs and screens simultaneously
