Responsibilities

  • Formulate and recommend administrative plans and procedures.
  • Implement existing administrative regulations.
  • Screen all personnel actions and coordinate materials for management review.
  • Serve as Custodial Officer accountable for office property, procurement, transfers, and disposal of equipment.
  • Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, records, briefing materials, and statistical and narrative material required to support the organization.

Requirements

  • 1 year of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in coordinating and evaluating a range of administrative services for an organization.
  • Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B. or J.D. if related.
  • Knowledge of administrative rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Skill in conducting analyses of administrative functions, work processes, and numerous and/or varied projects.
  • Skill in oral communication.
  • Ability to direct a comprehensive support program by providing services necessary to the operation of the organization.
  • Knowledge of procurement, travel, and property management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in federal government administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with EPA policies and procedures.
