About the position

The Administrative Operations Coordinator at Rockdale RYDC is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the facility, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with policies. This role involves coordinating various administrative tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining effective communication within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Support staff in administrative tasks and provide necessary resources.
  • Maintain effective communication between departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation as required.
  • Manage scheduling and logistics for meetings and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative support or operations coordination.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a correctional or youth services environment.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to youth services.
