About the position

The University of Kentucky's College of Medicine Office of Faculty Affairs and Development is seeking an Administrative Operations Coordinator to play a pivotal role in coordinating faculty affairs and development programs. This full-time position is based in Lexington, KY, and will report directly to the Director of Faculty Affairs. The coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the operational needs of the office, including the scheduling and coordination of faculty affairs events and programming. This role requires frequent interaction with faculty and staff, making strong interpersonal and communication skills essential. The Administrative Operations Coordinator will assist in the appointment, promotion, and tenure processes, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The position demands a detail-oriented individual who can manage competing deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. The coordinator will also provide overall operational and executive support to the office, contributing to the smooth functioning of faculty affairs initiatives. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours as needed.
