The Project Assistant role is designed for a self-motivated individual who will support the planning and execution of flooring projects in a fast-paced office environment. This position involves direct interaction with customers, including general contractors and homeowners, ensuring that projects are completed smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, including general contractors, insurance adjusters, and homeowners.
• Oversee the planning and completion of flooring projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of work.
• Provide daily updates on all managed projects, including photo updates from installers.
• Process necessary paperwork for all orders and installations.
• Assist customers with their flooring selections and appointment setting.
• Follow up with customers after job completion to ensure satisfaction.
• Research availability of merchandise and process orders using a computer database.
• Stay updated on product specifications and warranties.
• Build and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in the position and career.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Professionalism, including dependability, accountability, and punctuality.
• Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines and deliverables.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the flooring industry or construction background.
• Xactimate estimating experience is a plus.
• Bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred.
