About the position

Our client, a successful West St. Louis County remediation and restoration firm, is seeking an experienced Administrative Project Coordinator to manage and oversee the processes surrounding compliance issue management for reconstruction, restoration, and remediation projects. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with people and helping them transition from chaos and loss to calm and normality. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including homeowners, insurance adjustors, and internal staff. The Administrative Project Coordinator will monitor and manage project progress, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently. This includes preparing correspondence and other documents, understanding basic financial statements, and developing trust-based relationships with all stakeholders involved in the projects. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented, as they will have complete ownership and responsibility for their projects and work products. The role also demands a high level of customer focus, with the goal of exceeding customer expectations and providing exceptional service. In addition to project management responsibilities, the Administrative Project Coordinator will be expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing job demands. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee compliance issue management for reconstruction, restoration, and remediation projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business is a plus.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in administrative project management, preferably in construction, trades, insurance, or mortgage processing.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and good computer skills are essential.
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to develop trusting client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to understand basic financial statements and work processes.
