About the position

The Administrative Security Assistant at ManTech is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to the NAWCAD Department, focusing on security-related tasks. This role involves managing both paper and electronic files, assisting with security facility management, and handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The position requires a proactive approach to ensure efficient operations within a DoD environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and organizational support for a NAWCAD Department, including assistance with Administrative Security duties.
  • Perform administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.
  • Support security-related facility management tasks, including inventory of safes and security container combination changes.
  • Handle Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in daily duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years professional experience relevant to DoD Security Administrative support.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of security-related administrative experience in a NAVAIR or DoD environment, including experience with Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Base Access Security Information Control System (Basics II).

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in working with computers and data entry software applications.
  • Experience in tracking and managing AV/IT resources and conference room scheduling.
  • Ability to assist with logistics needs for meetings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams applications.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA).
