About the position

The Administrative Specialist III/Rehab Aide at PeaceHealth is a full-time position responsible for providing diverse clerical and administrative support in a hybrid front office and back-office environment. This role involves patient scheduling, stocking rooms, assisting and rooming patients, and performing various administrative tasks to facilitate workflow and ensure accurate completion of assignments. The position requires independent judgment and the ability to guide and train other staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Receives little instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
  • Applies knowledge and independent judgment to complete a wide range of assignments and resolve problems.
  • Provides guidance and training to other staff.
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
  • Applies knowledge of programmatic and administrative requirements.
  • Facilitates workflow for accurate completion of assignment/projects in accordance with work expectations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible applicable experience in a professional office.
  • Preferred: Medical office experience.
  • Preferred: Formal business and/or secretarial training or experience.
