About the position

The Administrative Support Analyst position at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is a temporary role focused on providing project and administrative support for the STD Control Branch. The role involves a hybrid work environment, requiring in-person attendance at least two days a week while allowing for remote work up to three days a week. The position is set to last until January 31, 2026, and includes responsibilities such as contract management, invoice reconciliation, and data entry, all while ensuring confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review contracts and grant documents.
  • Reconcile the invoice process.
  • Independently review executed purchase order documents for accuracy.
  • Assist with grant and contract expenditure tracking.
  • Collate information and take notes at high-level Section meetings.
  • Disseminate action plans and perform data entry.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Two years of administrative experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow directions accurately.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Data analysis experience.
  • Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
  • General knowledge of medical terminology pertaining to sexually transmitted diseases and relevant laws, rules, regulations, and policies of the State of California.
