About the position

Children of the City is seeking a Full or Part-time Administrator who will play a critical role in the administrative and management team. This position involves collaborating closely with upper management and liaising with staff and partners to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized self-starter with strong project management skills, responsible for managing office affairs, maintaining schedules, and supporting various organizational functions.

Responsibilities

  • Direct management of office affairs administration.
  • Daily office and facilities management.
  • Keeping yearly calendar and ensuring timely operations of the organization.
  • Maintaining accurate information and task management for organizational functions and programs.
  • Documenting and following up on tasks from staff meetings and ensuring timely execution.
  • Basic communications with vendors, contractual partners, donors, and board members.
  • Supporting the finance manager with necessary record keeping.
  • Providing management, support, and oversight to program and project staff.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with software technology, including MS Word, Excel, Google Workspace apps, Zoom, and Calendar.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SACC Department of Health licensing is a plus.
